A Message From Chef Joe:
I have been using Cento Italian Tomatoes, and only Cento, for almost 15 years. In my opinion, no other comes close. Cento’s commitment to quality & consistency with the tomatoes and all of their products is, in my opinion, un-surpassed. I couldn’t imagine using another tomato for my marinara, my Bolognese or my Sunday Gravy.
I use many other Cento products as well.
I have visited the Cento plant in Thorofare, NJ many times. I have seen the photos of the owners, on their trips to the Agro Sarnese Nocerino region of Italy where their San Marzano tomatoes are grown. I have felt the passion that they feel when talking about their products.
I am also very proud that we have this company right here where it originated, in New Jersey.
